Alien Technology Corporation Names Peter Green Chief Executive Officer
“”]November 23, 2010, MORGAN HILL, California – Alien Technology Corporation today announced that the company’s Board of Directors has appointed Peter Green to the position of Chief Executive Officer and member of the company’s Board of Directors.
“”]“”]Mr. Green has been tasked with leading the company forward, toward a goal of increased shareholder value through market leadership and profitability. This change of leadership is intended to launch Alien Technology® to the next level as UHF RFID continues to mature, develop and enter a high growth phase within the industry.
“”]“”]“Peter is an experienced business manager with a passion for excellence, innovation and market growth.” said Duane Zitzner, Chairman, Alien Technology Board of Directors. “He comes to Alien Technology highly motivated and with an excellent track record of organizational development and execution to support corporate objectives. “”]“”]Mr. Green’s distinguished career includes senior management experience at large companies such as Intel, Texas Instruments and ON Semiconductor, and CEO experience at start-ups Imara Battery and Advent Solar. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Physics and his Master of Science in Microwave and Telecommunication Theory. Peter is in the process of relocating, with his wife, to Silicon Valley from his home in Chandler, Arizona.
