Supplementing these services is the expert-staffed Alien RFID Solutions Center, currently in Morgan Hill, CA. In December 2005, Alien will open a new 22,000 square foot RFID Solutions Center in Dayton, OH., which will provide state-of-the-art facilities for tailored application development, and interoperability testing and hardware evaluations. Open to customers and qualified solutions partners, the new facilities will enable them to run comprehensive performance and validation trials in simulated real-world environments.

In collaboration with the Department of the Navy, the RFID Solutions Center has developed "Prepare, Design and Deploy RFID Solutions for DoD Logistics". Designed and taught by RFID subject matter experts, this course guides students through the science, standards and breakthrough technologies behind successful RFID implementations. Use of the RFID Solutions Center’s simulated warehouse and manufacturing environments enriches the student experience and provides a hands-on environment for learning.
