RFID Optimized! is a one-day, one-of-a-kind, hands-on technical workshop designed for professionals with a grounding in the basics of RFID who now need to stand-up, manage or troubleshoot a RFID implementation. Under the guidance of seasoned RFID experts, students are actively challenged to analyze business case factors, customer requirements, environmental factors, equipment configurations and workflow processes to determine their impact on ongoing RFID success.

Combining interactive classroom participation, role-play challenges, and simulated warehouse, manufacturing and retail environments, Optimizing Your RFID Implementation demonstrates how to overcome widely encountered real-world challenges using best practices, tools and techniques proven successful over numerous RFID implementations.

Action plan in hand, students are tasked to:

• Conduct successful site surveys, detect interference sources using spectrum analyzers, and properly tag cases and pallets.
• Test solutions in a simulated distribution center beset with changing requirements, faulty equipment implementations and improperly programmed RFID components.
• Successfully interface to and validate hardware installation; program reader commands; manage light stacks, photo-eyes and horns; wire up reader I/O; and configure and debug programming/acquisition RFID implementations on a high speed conveyer.
