Alien Technology provides an array of high-performance, flexible EPC Gen 2 RFID readers that are easy to deploy and manage. The Alien line encompasses readers compliant with U.S., European and Asian regulations, all based on a common software interface, the Alien Reader Protocol, to maximize return on investment and to speed implementation.

The Alien Reader Protocol gives RFID users a well-equipped toolkit for implementing effective RFID solutions. Using the Alien command set, Alien readers deliver the power and flexibility that software professionals and solutions engineers need.

Thanks to broad industry support, it is easy to implement with Alien Readers.  The Alien Reader Protocol is supported by key RFID software platforms including Microsoft BizTalk RFID, IBM WebSphere, Oat Systems, Oracle, GlobeRanger and others. Proven support for SAP through middleware is also available. A well-documented SDK featuring .NET and Java libraries enables easy, custom interfaces to control the reader if desired.

	ALR-9900+ High Performance, Easy to Integrate, Easy to Manage Alien’s flagship Enterprise category reader, the ALR-9900+, is the newest in the portfolio, boasting best in class performance with a rich set of features. It is designed for operation in the “915MHz” frequency band. The ALR-9900+ enables users to deploy manageable, robust, best-in-class RFID solutions for demanding supply chain, manufacturing and asset management applications. The ALR-9900+ improves upon receiver sensitivity and enhances interference rejection, resulting in substantial performance margin improvements over previous generations. It adds Dynamic Authentication for additional security, and maintains a small footprint. The ALR-9900+ delivers high read rates in demanding applications in an easy-to-integrate, easy-to-manage package.
	ALR-9900+EMA High Performance, Easy to Integrate, Easy to Manage Similar to the ALR-9900+, Alien has released a global version of its flagship Enterprise category reader to address the European, Middle East, African and Asian markets with the introduction of the ALR-9900+EMA. The ALR-9900+EMA is designed for frequencies of operation in the “866MHz” frequency band. The ALR-9900+EMA, is also Alien’s newest reader platform, boasting best in class performance with a rich set of features, including support of the new ETSI EN 302-208-2 “Four Channel Plan.” The ALR-9900+EMA enables users to deploy manageable, robust, best-in-class RFID solutions for demanding supply chain, manufacturing and asset management applications. The ALR-9900+EMA improves upon receiver sensitivity and enhances interference rejection, resulting in substantial performance margin improvements over previous generations. It adds Dynamic Authentication for additional security, and maintains a small footprint. 	ALH-900x Hand Held RFID Reader - High Performance, Easy to Use, Easy to Manage, Easy to Deploy The Alien Technology® ALH-900x family of Hand Held readers enables users to deploy manageable, robust, best-in class EPC Gen 2 RFID solutions for supply chain, manufacturing and asset management applications.
	ALR-9650 Ideal Single-Antenna Solution Enabling Low System Costs The ALR-9650 is the ideal solution for single-antenna RFID systems reading moderate numbers of tags. An integrated antenna and power-over-Ethernet (POE) support enable very low system cost and a small installation footprint suitable for indoor asset tracking, access control and POS applications. An additional second antenna port enables cost-effective, 2-antenna applications.
