Alien Technology® Files for Initial Public Offering
April 13, 2006, Morgan Hill, CA – Alien Technology Corporation today announced that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of approximately $120 million of its common stock. It is expected that all shares sold in the offering will be sold by the Company.
Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. is acting as book-running manager for the offering with Cowen & Company, Robert W. Baird & Co. and Advanced Equities, Inc. acting as co-managers for the offering.
A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold, nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
