Robert K. Eulau Joins Alien Technology® As EVP & Chief Financial Officer
February 13, 2006, Morgan Hill, CA — Alien Technology Corporation today announced that Robert K. Eulau has been appointed to the position of executive vice president and chief financial officer of the company. Most recently chief financial officer for Rambus, Inc., Eulau will head up the finance, corporate development, human resources, legal and information technology functions at Alien, reporting to Alien chief executive officer, Stav Prodromou.
“We are delighted to have Bob Eulau join our executive management team,” said Prodromou. “Bob brings to Alien extensive expertise in the management of multi-billion dollar businesses and possesses the energy, insight and leadership skills required to help manage the company through our next phases of growth.”
Also joining Alien’s senior management team is Todd Lowenstein, who will be corporate controller, reporting to Eulau. Lowenstein was most recently corporate controller for VeriFone, Inc.

Eulau has 20 years of experience in global finance and marketing roles, leading both large corporate and divisional teams. As senior vice president and chief financial officer at Rambus, he was instrumental in creating a strategic role for finance. Prior to Rambus, he held a succession of senior financial positions at HP, including vice president and chief financial officer for the $30 billion HP Business Customer Organization and for the $20 billion HP Computing Products division, with complete P&L responsibilities. Eulau has a BA in Mathematics from Pomona College, Claremont, and a MBA Finance/Accounting from the University of Chicago.
