Alien Technology Corporation Names Stav Prodromou Chief Executive
Officer
MORGAN HILL, CA September 16, 2002 - Alien Technology Corporation today announced the appointment of Stav Prodromou as the company's Chief Executive Officer. Prodromou succeeds Jeffrey J. Jacobsen who will continue to serve the company as Sr. Vice President New Market Development.
Prodromou contributes to Alien 30 years of executive leadership most recently as CEO of Peregrine Semiconductor Corp., a privately held manufacturer and developer of high-speed mixed signal integrated circuits for wireless and fiber optic communications. Previously, he held executive leadership positions with Integrated Circuit Systems, Poqet Computer Corporation and Fairchild Semiconductor Corp. Prodromou holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Rutgers University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Systems Science from Polytechnic Institute of New York.
